Typography

We paid a lot of attention to getting the basics of our typography right in the new WordPress Blog theme. The purpose of this HTML is to help determine what default settings are with CSS and to make sure that all possible HTML Elements are included. For example we looked at headings. Lovely headings.

H1 Heading

Quite often typography is one of most ignored aspects of test link website design. [hr]

H2 Heading

Here are two small flourishes that can add a little bit of polish to a blog or text-heavy site to liven it up a bit. [hr]

Poor typography can make your website feel bland or boring, and at worst impact readability. [hr]

Blockquotes got some love too – because everyone loves a good quality blockquote to quote around. On both desktop and mobile.
Frameworks make decisions for you about how to organize, structure and design a site. Pattern libraries don’t separate styling and markup, making them tough to use in a truly modular fashion. We weren’t satisfied, so we made a thing that doesn’t do that.

[row cols_nr="2"] [col size="3"]   [/col] [col size="6"] Here is where the beauty lies. We’ve taken that extra-mile and crafted an advanced but simple to use shortcodes plugin that will allow you to give structure and bling to your pages and posts. Grid System

The default grid system utilizes 12 columns, making for a 1200px wide container. Below 800px viewport size, the columns become stacked vertically. [hr]

The Ambiance

You are where you eat

When it comes to food everybody has an opinion. You eat hence you know (or somewhere along those lines). Having leveled the playing field, we think that it's not all said and done when we are talking about enjoying a nice meal. So we've set ourselves the task of improving and perfecting the act of eating in every way, down to the finest details. The tomato has circled the globe like no other vegetable or fruit! The tomato has circled the globe like no other vegetable or fruit!

Although perceived as a vegetable because of its main culinary uses, it is actually a fruit belonging to the "Solanacea" family and is a close relative of the Potato, the Capsicum Pepper and the Aubergine. Today, the tomato is one of the most popular foods / ingredients in Europe, partly owing to its versatility and its ability to blend well with cheese, eggs, meat and a wide range of herbs.

In 2006 Giovanni decided to convert the entire production into Organic with the aim of preserving as much of the natural fruit of the grape in the finished wine as possible and was the first in the region to do this. CURED MEATS

CURED MEATS

Cured meats were developed as a need to conserve meat for months and there are three principal ways by which the curing process can take place; salting, smoking or simply air-drying.
Italians have been curing meat for thousands of years, with each region having its own varieties and specialities. Today, pork is the most common type of meat used, with the rearing of pigs being especially common in the northern regions of Italy. Probably the best known of all Italian cured meats is Prosciutto Crudo, which hails from Northern Italy's province of Parma, the same area famous for Parmesan cheese.

SAUCES & SEASONINGS

The regions of Italy have for many years favoured their own traditional sauce recipes that have been passed down through generations. When the twentieth century came along, faster methods of transportation quickly moved people from one part of the country to another and introduced them to new tastes and ideas that led to experimentation with different sauces to accompany many pasta shapes.

WATER & SOFT DRINKS

WATER & SOFT DRINKS

Water is without doubt the most important liquid in the world! Its popularity in bottled form with consumers remains unchallenged with the only obstacle being in the sheer number of brands available to choose from.

CQS's range focuses on quality and range diversity of a wide selection of leading Natural Mineral Water brands. Natural Mineral Water is derived from an underground formation called an 'Aquifer' that has water naturally flowing from it to the surface of the earth. To be certified 'Natural Mineral Water', the water must be collected at the source or through a borehole tapping into the underground formation. Speciality Fruit Juices and Soft Drinks from some leading brand owners further enhance our offering, truly providing an extensive variety and choice can to those seeking premium quality non-alcoholic drinks.

DESSERTS

DESSERTS

Italy has a reputation for an amazing and varied array of pastries and desserts, everything from the rich creamy ricotta cakes of the South to chocolatey wonders of the North.

The King of Italian desserts ‘Tiramisu’ came to us from Italy and is sometimes called "The Tuscan Trifle" because of its origin in the Tuscany region, but literally means "pick me up". This Italian delight is made from Savoiardi biscuits soaked in coffee with mascarpone, whipped cream and a light dusting of cocoa powder.

COFFEE SERVICE

COFFEE SERVICE

Arriving in the ports of Venezia from the Arabian world in the sixteenth century, coffee has developed its very own culture in Italy and it can be argued the Italian’s invented how the rest of the world enjoys coffee.

It’s a fact the Italian’s love their coffee – and it is a serious matter that must be done properly! A milky, frothy cappuccino is typically enjoyed accompanied by a fresh pasticcini for breakfast (but never after 11am) and the quintessential caffé (espresso) is savoured throughout the day and perfectly concludes lunch and dinner.

FRANCE The days when people thought that decent wines could only come from France are long gone but French wines still account for one third of all bottles sold in the UK and enjoy over 50% share of the UK On Trade Market. Some producers are listening to the changing demands of the marketplace however, hence the recent success of Vin de Pays, many of which are based on grape varietals and have a "New World" appearance. These are always worth a try - most are brilliant and offer very good value for money.

[/col]

[col size="4"]

SPAIN Amongst Europe's largest wine producers Spain provides an enormous range of wines which represent excellent value, from the Cavas of Penedes, the Riojas and the huge region of La Mancha in the arid centre of Spain which provides much of the everyday drinking wine. Quality has improved enormously since the 1970's with cool fermentation and stainless steel allowing fresher and crisper wines to be made in spite of the high summer temperatures.Rioja remains the most popular and widely consumer wine from Spain with its soft fruity style and lightly oaky nose.

AUSTRALIA Australian wine is the darling of the UK with its big, powerful reds and rich, oaky whites, all bursting with fruit and always of consistent quality. Australia has helped to introduce the UK consumer to grape varietals which are now increasingly recognised and demanded by wine lovers.

[/col]

[col size="4"]

NEW ZEALAND The Maoris named New Zealand "land of the long white cloud" for good reason as the climate is rather cool and damp which is great for producing white wines with intense aromas and flavours. New Zealand has achieved the sort of image that most northern hemisphere countries would kill for! More than two thirds of New Zealand's wine exports come to the UK.

Always reliable, Chile is now  making some very exciting new single varietal and blended wines. The region has perhaps been somewhat overlooked in recent years but we think that spearheaded by crisp fresh Barberas and deliciously drinkable Astis this is about to change.

SARDINIA

SARDINIA

Sardinia is the second largest island in the Mediterranean. The grapes grown are a mixture of locally adapted versions of European varieties such as the Cannonau (Grenache), Vermentino (Rolle) and Torbato (Malvoisie) as well as Cabernets, Merlots and other well known varietals.

The climate is much influenced by the sea and this together with the soil gives the wines of Sardinia their own
evocative character, similar in many ways to the Garrique wines of Provence or the Maremma area of Tuscany with which it shares the Vermentino grape.

TERRE DELL'ISOLA The Tenimenti Montoni Estate is situated in the hinterland of Sicily in the commune of Cammarata near Agrigento. The estate was acquired by the Alfano family in the early 1970’s. In 2004 Gaetano Alfano decided to transform the grapes from his father’s estate thus creating a stronger brand which continues to grow in reputation.

FINA "Character" is the password of Bruno Fina and his family. Fina's wines are the results of a land that is loved and fought for, they have the taste of the passion and of that grapes that have been wisely turned into wine, thanks to the dedication of the work in the vineyard. They have the familiar warmth and the experience of who has always done wine and has always known how to narrate it. This is how you transmit the hereditary character of the territory and the harmony of the men that search for excellence on a daily basis.

MOLISE

MOLISE

Molise is one of the smallest Italian regions tucked away below Abruzzo and is certainly the least known. Very mountainous it is largely agricultural although does not produce much wine for export and it is only very recently that the few wines produced have been seen in foreign markets. The best known are Red, White and Rose Biferno DOC named after the river; the red Biferno is made from a blend of Montepulciano and Aglianico grapes grown on the steep and hilly vineyards which often overlook the Adriatic sea in the distance.

TOMATO PRODUCTS

TOMATO PRODUCTS

The tomato has circled the globe like no other vegetable or fruit! Although perceived as a vegetable, it is actually a fruit belonging to the "Solanacea" family and is a close relative of the Potato, the Capsicum Pepper and the Aubergine. Today, the tomato is one of the most popular foods / ingredients in Europe, partly owing to its versatility and its ability to blend well with cheese, eggs, meat and a wide range of herbs.

EMILIA ROMAGNA

EMILIA ROMAGNA

This rich agricultural region is the home of Parmigiano cheese, Prosciutto di Parma, Lambrusco and the Italian sports car industry. Largely flat and well watered, a wide range of grapes are grown in the more hilly regions to the south west on the edge of the Apennines, producing light and zesty whites and reds. The Sangiovese is the key red grape making soft fruity wines with a clean fresh style, ideal for serving with the local pork dishes such as
Zampone. Long regarded as a source of everyday drinking wines, producers in the region are increasingly
experimenting with new styles and grapes.

SANTA MARGHERITA

SANTA MARGHERITA

Santa Margherita represents the starting point of the Santa Margherita Wine Group, founded by Count Gaetano Marzotto in 1935, which gradually developed into a real “wine making mosaic” with its own wineries and vineyards in some of Italy's most beautiful regions: Eastern Veneto, the Conegliano-Valdobbiadene hills, Alto Adige, Lombardy with Franciacorta, Tuscany with Chianti Classico and Maremma and Sicily.

FRANCE

The days when people thought that decent wines could only come from France are long gone but French wines still account for one third of all bottles sold in the UK and enjoy over 50% share of the UK On Trade Market. Some producers are listening to the changing demands of the marketplace however, hence the recent success of Vin de Pays, many of which are based on grape varietals and have a "New World" appearance. These are always worth a try - most are brilliant and offer very good value for money.

SPAIN

Amongst Europe's largest wine producers Spain provides an enormous range of wines which represent excellent value, from the Cavas of Penedes, the Riojas and the huge region of La Mancha in the arid centre of Spain which provides much of the everyday drinking wine. Quality has improved enormously since the 1970's with cool fermentation and stainless steel allowing fresher and crisper wines to be made in spite of the high summer temperatures.Rioja remains the most popular and widely consumer wine from Spain with its soft fruity style and lightly oaky nose.

NEW ZEALAND

The Maoris named New Zealand "land of the long white cloud" for good reason as the climate is rather cool and damp which is great for producing white wines with intense aromas and flavours. New Zealand has achieved the sort of image that most northern hemisphere countries would kill for! More than two thirds of New Zealand's wine exports come to the UK.

ARGENTINA

The Argentine wine industry is the  fifth largest producer of wine in the world. Argentine wine, as with some aspects of Argentine cuisine, has its roots in Spain. During the Spanish colonization of the Americas, vine cuttings were brought to Santiago del Estero in 1557 and the cultivation of the grape and wine production stretched first to neighbouring regions and then to other parts of the country.

TENUTA L’ARIOSA

In this land, the vineyards of Tenuta L’Ariosa are immersed in the unspoilt inland territory in Sardinia where stone and sea meet each other with the sweet whispers of the breezes that blow lightly over Sardinia. Only indigenous cultivars, grown on espaliers or saplings that have a rare intensity and complexity are used, in a unique land where the vineyards have always co-existed with Mediterranean scrub, olives and fruit trees.

CANTINE SAN GIORGIO

Cantine San Giorgio is a historic business in the territory of Salento, founded in 1962 as a wine cooperative. The family, after careful assessment, in 2012 invested in the winery with the aim and commitment to give new impulse to local wine production, enhancing the potential of the typical vines. From those beginnings, current wine production at Cantine San Giorgio is an important example of one of the most productive Italian regions and has become renowned, especially in recent years, from the renewed commitment to pursue the utmost quality of grapes and wines. The estate is symbolised by the white Torre Vinaria of Cantine San Giorgio. Designed by Emilio Sernagiotto, it is 21 metres high with 6 levels of cement tanks, one underground and five above ground, designed to provide a natural method of preventing the wine undergoing heat spikes in a region with very high summer temperatures.  [product_category category="cantine-san-giorgio" per_page="100" columns="4" order="asc"] [/col] [/row]

FINA

"Character" is the password of Bruno Fina and his family. Fina's wines are the result of a land that is loved and fought for, they have the taste of the passion and of that grapes that have been wisely turned into wine, thanks to the dedication of the work in the vineyard. They have the familiar warmth and the experience of who has always done wine and has always known how to narrate it. This is how you transmit the hereditary character of the territory and the harmony of the men that search for excellence on a daily basis. TERRABUONA ABRUZZO

Terrabuona was founded in 1960 when the Abruzzo countryside had depopulated once again and many Italians had left the country in search of a better future. Terrabuona played an active part in helping to bring out radical change in the local wine-growing landscape, especially in Tollo which became a real "City of Wine".
