CHIANTI CLASSICO RISERVA DOCG ROCCA DELLE MACIE 2013

The wine ages in French oak barrels for two years and is then refined further in the bottle for a minimum of three months. This wine is ruby red becoming garnet with age and produces an ample, intense and refined nose with excellent variety of fruity aromas, and a gentle touch of spices released from the wood. The palate is intense and persistent, with well balanced tannins and excellent finish.

Food Pairing: Ideal served with roasted, grilled, and barbecued meats, sautéed fillets of beef and delicate cheeses.
