LIBURNA PINOT GRIGIO LUCIDO TERRE SICILIANE IGP

This wine is made from a blend of 60% Pinot Grigio and 40% Catarratto Lucido grapes grown near the town oil Trapani in South Western Sicily. The Catarratto grape is an indigenous grape found only in Sicily and formerly used to make Marsala. A pale golden yellow with touches of green, the nose is very soft with notes of white peach and green apple. In the mouth there is a balance of fruit and acidity giving a pleasing elegance and a hint of aniseed on the finish

Food Pairing: Serve slightly chilled with a wide variety of foods including chicken dishes, white meats and seafood
