Rocca delle Macie’s historic Supertuscan.  Produced in its first vintage in 1988, it was conceived as an equal blend of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon, as a wine to represent the winery’s know-how and the development of Tuscan hint with an international breath.  From the 2015 vintage, Roccato IGT Toscana is a pure Cabernet Sauvignon, obtained from the single vineyard “Poggio alle Pecchie”.

Deep ruby red with garnet reflections.  Rich and persistent bouquet with hints of red berries and spices like cocoa, vanilla and coffee.  Warm and well balanced with a consistent structure of tannins which support the long finish of the wine

Food Pairing: Delicious accompaniment to red meats, game dishes and dry cheeses
