SIGNUM AETNAE ETNA ROSSO DOC RISERVA 

In the vineyards of Cavanera Etnea estate, you will admire a rare and precious treasure; a pre-phylloxera vineyard.  Long lived, centenarian vines which are distinguished by the formation of the trunk, often evolved into concentric circles, coils and twisted arms.  Etna Riserva Signum Aetnae comes from these centuries old vines.  Signum Aetnae is the flagship of Firriato’s Etna production.  Intense ruby red with mahogany hues.  Complex aromas of wild flowers, red fruits and spice.  Well balanced and elegant, velvety tannins enveloping on the palate and a long finish.

Food Pairing:  The perfect accompaniment to roasted and grilled meats, red meat stews, game and aged cheeses.
